We were recently asked to provide an additional inscription to a cremation plaque. We picked up the stone and were faced with a dilemma. How do we match the lettering? The existing inscription was a poorly spaced, rather dull sandblasted font, which had been painted black, though the paint had fallen out after only 6 years. We suggested to the client that we sand it off and start again, giving the stone the Artisan Memorials touch! She agreed.
After Mark worked his magic. Deep V-cut and hand drawn letters replacing the rather dull sandblasted font of the original inscription. An additional inscription and a calligraphic “Together Again” motif with flourishes transforms this piece.
